BrightSpark Early Learning Services invites you to attend our Annual Fundraising Event on Saturday, October 5th, at the Renton Pavilion Events Center. Your presence is not only welcomed but deeply valued. As the cornerstone of our community, your daily work fuels our mission of nurturing and sustaining child-centered, antiracist early learning communities. We would love to have you attend!
This family-friendly, community-centric event will feature fun activities for children and adults, special performances from the Seattle Jazz Quartet—the Scratch Cats—and the Seattle Children’s Chorus, amazing food and drinks, incredible raffle prizes and silent auction items, and more! We are so excited to showcase the strengths of our early learning community to everyone in attendance.
This year, we’ve introduced a ticket price because, as this is first and foremost a fundraiser, it’s important that we cover rising event costs and ensure that as much of the funds raised as possible go directly to supporting our programs. BrightSpark strives to make this event as accessible as possible, especially for providers, so we’re offering a discounted rate for child care providers. Having donors, funders, lawmakers, and providers together in one place allows us to connect in person, share experiences, and uplift one another around a collective purpose. Your experiences, stories, and expertise are crucial to the conversations we will have this evening, and we are eager to share this special night with you all, our communities’ child care providers who contribute so much to the lives of children!
As a fundraising event, there will be many opportunities to donate to support our programs. While donations are greatly appreciated, please keep in mind that they are not required. While our primary goal is to raise funds, our greatest hope is to strengthen our bonds and celebrate the incredible efforts being made every day to enhance access and quality of child care across King and Pierce Counties!
