Funding for Early Learning Is at Risk — Here’s How You Can Help

Friends and supports,

Right now, funding for early learning is facing serious threats. As the state wrestles with a growing budget deficit, critical support for families, children, and providers hangs in the balance. Services like mental health support, family, friend, and neighbor care, and resource navigation — and the families who rely on them — are at risk.

But we are not powerless.

At BrightSpark, we believe that we are stronger together — and this is a moment to show what that truly means.

Here’s how you can take action:

Donate to our Spring Bloom Together Campaign
Your gift helps us sustain and expand access to high-quality child care, advocate for equitable policies, and ensure that every child has the foundation they need to thrive.

Speak Out for Early Learning
Share why early learning matters to you. Tell your story. Post it. Email it. Talk to your lawmakers, your community, and your networks. This is a way to take control and help shape the future.

Spread the Word
Invite your friends, family, and colleagues to join you in supporting this work. Every voice and every dollar makes a difference.

Start a Fundraising Team
Fundraising is more fun together! By clicking on the donate button below, you can navigate to the “start a fundraiser” option on the page. This will walk you through the process of starting your own fundraiser, building a fundraising team, and sharing with your community to donate.

The time to act is now. Our Bloom Together campaign runs through May 31st. Your support fuels a stronger, more equitable early learning system — and a brighter future for all.

Together, we can bloom through these challenges.
