Description
Through this 2-hour session participants will learn about how children’s brains develop from birth through adolescence. Participants will explore the concept of templates and how our early experiences shape our perspectives and responses and will identify opportunities to implement new knowledge.
Learning Objectives
After learning about basic concepts of child and adolescent development, participants will learn about how templates or personal biases form and influence our experiences and relationships. Participants will reflect on their own templates and create a plan for including this new learning in their personal and professional practice.
